Key responsibilities
· Providing application development, support and functional enhancements for Autonomy IDOL Search tools
· Analysis of existing Application Programs
· Flexibility to learn new application with quick turnaround time
· Interact with the Business to understand their requirements, provide solutions or workarounds, and at times guide/train them on how to use the application system.
· Ensure development quality standards are met.
Experience and qualifications
· Technical
· Prior Experience of at-least 1 year for Autonomy IDOL search with total experience of 4+ yrs in Java related development
· Experience of working on Teamsite/Livesite
· Sound analytical and debugging skills.
· Basic knowledge of XML ,XSLT, DTD's
· Exposure / working knowledge of Perl Scripting
· Working knowledge of Unix Scripts & commands
· Ability to work unsupervised managing goals and deliverables.
· Ability to work in both Windows and UNIX platforms
· Experience of Java Development on Web sphere as an Application Server
· Experience on standard IDE like Rational Application Developer (RAD) or Eclipse
· Exposure to any Source Control Tool like SVN,ClearCase
