Analyst/Senior Analyst - Websphere Message Broker

Key Responsibilities

 The candidate is expected to design and develop solutions around:
• Information management through service and messaging based implementations
• Middleware deployment to decouple physical implementation of data and data access
• Services composition to enable business process integration
• Integration through service bus based deployments
 Liaising with Data analysts to understand the data needs of the consuming applications;
 Own the design, development and provide leadership and guidance to ensure timely and quality delivery. Actively review to ensure the deliveries are on track.
 Engage with Solution Architects to ensure that deliverables are aligned to architectural goals / best practices and fit into future state vision.
 Conduct technical research to support the development of services based solutions
 Participate in the definition of technical standards and guidelines for the Services & J2EE technologies
 Participate in planning for strategic data initiatives
 Work with the senior management to continuously improve the design, development and support processes


Experience and Qualifications

 B.E./B.Tech. or M.C.A. in Computer Science from a reputed University.
 3-7 years of relevant industry experience.
 At least 2 years of relevant experience around service based application integration solutions
 Experience of developing integration solutions based on Websphere Message Broker.
 Relevant experience of working on data centric projects involving enterprise level data integration and consolidation
 Experience of complete project lifecycle execution from Requirements Analysis to Production Support.
 Proficiency in UML and Object Oriented design
 3rd Party Products integration experience.
 Experience of working with multi-cultural and geographically disparate teams.

Essential Skills

 Knowledge on design and development of Service Oriented Architecture based solutions
 Hands on experience in implementing message flows using Websphere Message Broker (6.* onwards).
 Experience in using Websphere MQ (6.* onwards) messaging platform.
 Hands on experience in implementing web services using technologies like SOAP, WSDL, REST, CXF etc.
 Knowledge on Web services standards and security implementation.
 Well versed in design and development using Oracle (or any other major relational database).

Desirable Skills / Experience
 Knowledge and experience in implementing any Enterprise Service Bus based solution.
 Knowledge of caching frameworks around web services.
 Well versed in working on J2EE set of technologies and common java frameworks like Spring, Struts, iBATIS etc.
 Oracle Database Development, including PL/SQL procedures.
 Experience of developing application frameworks.
 Knowledge of Unix and shell scripts (AIX preferred).
 Experience on integration between J2EE and .NET based applications.
 Understanding of the Investment Management industry.
