Configuration Engineer

Function
The Product CM function is responsible for product handling and release management activities for the product development unit.

Position: Configuration Engineer: PCM (Product Configuration Management).
Experience - 1-4 years of relevant experience

Technical Skills/Competencies
-Proficient with MS-Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint
-Knowledge of various tools used in Product Configuration Management (or similar field) or ability/eagerness to learn the same
-Basic knowledge of Unix will be an added advantage
-Software development model and knowledge (high level)
-Good spoken and written English

Responsibility for the position
-Establish and execute a plan to manage software products and related documentation through the software product lifecycle.
-Use of standard processes, procedures, tools as well as third party tools, where applicable for carrying out the assigned functions.-Structure and control the content of the product archives, during the software lifecycle.-Responsibility towards product release and correction note handling.-Able to handle multiple projects and perform independently or in a team environment.Location: GurgaonQualification: Graduate in any discipline, with a high level of computer proficiency
