Software Engineer - Core Java,OOPS,OOAD,UML,Socket Programming,XML

We have SE Online Mediation opening with MNC at Gurgaon.

Position: Java SE – Online Mediation Team.
Experience - 1-4 years of relevant experience

Mandatory Skills
-Good knowledge of Core-Java, Swing, XML, JDBC-ODBC, databases, CORBA, SOA-Web Services, Client-Server architecture.
-Experience in application development on Windows and UNIX platform.
-Knowledge of OOAD principles and Design patterns.
-Knowledge of Socket Programming, Multi-threading.
-Good knowledge of SW Tools such as Eclipse, Code-Pro, Ant, JUnit etc.
-Basic knowledge of the software version control (Rational Clear Case is an advantage)
-Must have good analytical Skills
-Must be a good team Player

Optional Skills (Added Advantage)
-Knowledge of Telecom Systems with domain specifics of Telecom Network Mediation.
-Knowledge and exposure to Protocols like SNMP, SMPP, Radius, Diameter, and SS7 stack.
-Should have an aptitude to learn new technologies and cross-functional domain
-Experience and ability to work in a distributed environment, different time zones and cultural diversity.

Responsibility for the position
-Propose Object Oriented (OO) Design for product development modules as assigned.
-Coding in Java, Swing, XML
-Documentation related to R&D activities (like Implementation Proposal, modeling, test specs, reviews etc.)
-Test case automation using JUnits and unit testing (for own code and for Function testing).
-Participate in peer reviews, inspection activities and Product feature demonstrations to the product owner.
-Fix Trouble reports, test and release as reported by tester/customers and assigned to him/her.
-Maintain process compliance. Propagate processes and ways of working (WoW) awareness in the team contributing towards processes and technical innovation.

Qualification: B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering)/B.Tech. (Bachelor of Technologies) preferably in Computer Science or Electronics or Masters in Computer Application (MCA) or MSc(Computer Science)/ME/MTech
