GENERAL SUMMARY

• Liaison with Business Sponsors / Business Users to understand business requirements, business process flow, suggest and provide business intelligence solutions for better decision making
• Analyzing and understanding various source systems to meet business requirements
• Ability to understand business objectives and translate them into specific requirements which can be understood by the BI technical and integration team
• Documenting user requirements using various methods

• Exposed to atleast a BI reporting Tool /ETL/Database

• Proficient in SQL

• Work will the QA team to prepare test cases

• End user training

Principal Accountabilities

• Understand and capturing customer requirements for BI projects
• Closely work with BI technical team
• Documenting user requirements using various methods.
• Creation of high level design, source target mappings, business process flows
• Participate in project solution design process
• Participate in Functional Testing and UAT
• End User Training
Mandatory Skill/s:
• Business Analysis Skills – Ability to understand business objectives and translate them into specific requirements
• Should have exposure to Business Intelligence / Data warehousing Domain
• SQL, database design and analysis concepts
• Understanding of SDLC of a BI Project/Application
• Retail Domain Knowledge
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
• MS Office / MS Visio
Nice to have Skill/s:
• Certification in Business Analysis / Retail Management

6 to 12 years
Any Engineering Graduate from recognized university (Preferable with specialization in IT/Computer Science)

Preferably MBA from a reputed university
