POSITION: Dataservices Engineer.
EXPERIENCE: 12 - 15 Yrs

JOB DESCRIPTION:
12-15 years of working experience in Embedded Telecomm Software development with C/C++
Exposure to and experienced in full lifecycle of embedded development - Design, implementation, testing, validation
Extensive understanding of Software and Hardware architecture in Telecom and Data Networking products, usecase analysis and design walkthrough.
Excellent communication skills with a desire to drive ideas and have the energy to see them through.
Need to have the ability to communicate effectively by phone.
RTOS experience with OSE, pSOS, QNX or VxWorks
C/C++, Skilled in scripting languages (e.g. Tcl/Tk, Expect)
Skilled in Object Oriented analysis and design
Experienced with source level debuggers (Multi, SDS, Xray, etc.)
Experienced with Clearcase/ClearDDTS
Familiar with Frame Maker
Excellent team lead skills,Dedicated, goal oriented, and team player.

Ethernet Services development specific knowledge:
Direct experience required in atleast 2 to 3 of the following: Ethernet services development, ELINE, ELAN, Provider Bridging, 802.1ad, SOAM, G.8031, Y.1731, MVRP, GVRP, xSTP, IGMP, MEF [Metro Ethernet Forum] specifications, CLI

HW/SW Interfaces:
Experience developing hardware/software interfaces, device drivers and Interrupt Service Routines (ISRs)
Experienced with Logic Analyzers, BDMs, Emulators, and other debugging tools
Good understanding of Data Plane software and integration
