* Analyzes, develops, tests and implements database designs in support of corporate and client area technology requirements.
* Performs data modeling, logical and physical database design.
* Includes maintenance of database dictionaries, monitoring of standards and procedures, access methods and time, validation checks, organization and statistical methods.
* Responsible for data loading, security, performance monitoring and tuning, capacity planning, and backup and recovery.
* Executes database software installation, database creations/configurations and loads.
Requirements: Qualifications:
* DataStage Administrator - setup and support deployment of IBM DataStage V8.1 on Linux OS environment for CSW project.
* Expert in setup and configuring of Information Server (Data Datastage)
* Must have technical experience to review physical and logic architectural views and validate starts/stop scripts, etc.
* Strong technical and problem solving skills.
* Prior Unix SA experience a plus
* Oracle
* UNIX
* ETL Tools
* DB2
* Unix Engineer
* Some level of development experience preferred.
* Must have experience with IBM Datastage ETL v8.1 product
