Software Engineer - C++

Position: SE – FE Server.
Experience - 1-4 years of relevant experience

Mandatory Skills
Following technical skills and competencies are must:
-Experience in C++.
-Good working experience in Object Oriented Programming.
-Experience with developing multithreaded applications using C++.
-Candidate should have experience of Debugging using tools like DBX, etc.
-Good in UNIX OS

Optional Skills (Added Advantage)
Following technical skills and competencies are must:
-Working experience with Posix Threads.
-Working experience with Socket Programming
-Should have experience for IPC mechanism like Socket, Shared memory, Signal Handling etc.
-Experience in Compiler usage in unix/make build process.
-Candidate should have worked with multi-processed architecture
-Candidate should have sound knowledge of data structure.
-Candidate should have good knowledge of XML parsing (SAX and DOM).
-Candidate should have working experience with Encoding and Decoding.
-Candidate should have working experience with ASN.1

Responsibilities for the Position
-Produce technical feasibility reports for new and prospective business cases.
-As an individual contributor, he needs to be hands on in Design, develop and test application that are assigned for, including design documentations.
-Works as a team members for new product evolution.
-Participate in 3rd party product analysis wherever required.
-Participate in the requirement analysis session with the System Architecture team (SAT).
-Write design related documents such as Implementation Proposals (IPs) for a subsystem, High and Low level design documents within the project.
-Coding and Unit test (CUT) using the defined technologies.
-Generate detailed unit test cases and perform the unit tests. If the new feature in being developed in Java then Junit shall also be written for unit test.
-Code coverage from UT point of view should be 100%.
-Testing (for own code and for Function testing).
-Adhere and follow all the design processes laid down by the unit where design project is undertaken. The processes are such as Streamline development, Agile development, Test driven development, peer reviews, risk based testing, peer reviews, pair programming etc.
-Fix trouble reports (TRs) or bugs as reported by tester and assigned to individuals.

Qualification: B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering)/B.Tech. (Bachelor of Technologies) preferably in Computer Science or Electronics or Masters in Computer Application (MCA) or MSc(Computer Science)/ME/MTech
